Filmmaker's Statement
Cindy Iodice is an award-winning filmmaker based in Honolulu, Hawaii. A visual artist and storyteller, Cindy has written and produced short films about family, life, love and loss. She is currently working on two feature length documentary films about family, community and life events. Bucciano
Rosario and Gelorma Iodice left Bucciano Italy in 1913 in search of a new country and a better life. One-hundred and four years lates, great granddaughter Cindy Iodice went to the village to take pictures of the place her grandfather was born only to discover there was still family living in the old country. Bucciano, is a documentary film about discovering family in a remote village in Southern Italy. Tow it All
In 1995, Russ Iodice was inducted into the International Towing and Recovery Hall of Fame in Chattanooga TN. for his remarkable contributions to Connecticut's towing industry. Tragically, Russ' oldest son Corey was struck and killed on April 22, 2020 while assisting a disabled motorist working for the family business. Tow it All is a story about Mickey's, a family towing business in a small New England town. Flagman
The National Flagman Slow Down Move Over Driver Safety Awareness Campaign was created after Corey's death. Flagman's mission is to use engaging and informative character-driven content to inform the driving public of the dangers associated with roadside emergencies and what to do anytime there is anything happening on the side of the road.

For the Iodice family, towing has always been more than a business, it is a legacy of service that began in 1957.

Seeing the Iodice Family Transport truck represented in every Flagman demonstration brings generations of our family’s story into whole school assemblies. From my father, Russ, to my brother, Corey, our family has always stood beside those who work along our roadways.

Today, that legacy lives on as students learn to Slow Down & Move Over and protect every tow operator, first responder, and highway worker because every person working on the roadside is someone’s family.

Watching this video honestly gives me so much hope. ❤️
What happened on Maui was truly special. Seeing students fully engaged with first responders and highway workers, and watching communities come together around road safety, is exactly why we started Flagman after our brother Corey Iodice of Iodice Family Transport was struck and killed on the side of a Connecticut roadway on April 22, 2020, while helping a disabled motorist.

Out of unimaginable loss came a mission to help save lives through education, awareness, and prevention.
Today, watching these students connect with the message and seeing first responders and highway workers stand together to educate the next generation reminds me why this work matters so deeply.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who continues to believe in what we’re building: the schools, students, first responders, highway workers, and supporters across the country helping us grow this mission one community at a time.
