University Lab School’s 6-foot-8 standout athlete Trey Ambrozich has announced his commitment to Vermont Academy, where he will continue both his academic and athletic journey this fall.

In an Instagram post, Ambrozich shared:
"Honored to announce that I’ll be continuing my academic and athletic journey at Vermont Academy this fall. I’m grateful for my roots in Hawaiʻi and everyone who’s supported me along the way. Ready to embrace this next chapter and keep striving on and off the court. Gonna miss all my friends and family."

A historic summer event for Braddahhood & Sistahhood Grindz at Pounders Restaurant 🌴☀️🌺

The Pounders Restaurant 10-Year Anniversary celebration ✨ became even more iconic with a special appearance by VIP guest Stan Walker, whose return to Hawai‘i was honored with a powerful and emotional pōwhiri from the Māori community.

A huge mahalo to Coach Chris Brown, Coach Robyn Ah Mow, CLIMB Works, the Polynesian Cultural Center, Rick Tolman, Hawai‘i Tours, and Zazzi for their support and inspiring messages on building legacy.

Representatives from University of Hawai‘i Football, Women’s & Men’s Basketball, Women’s & Men’s Volleyball, Women’s Beach Volleyball, and Women’s Water Polo were in attendance — adding to the significance of this unforgettable event. 🌈💚

Special thanks to Ryan Tanaka — founder of Braddahhood & Sistahhood Grindz and president of the Giovanni Pastrami Restaurant Group — whose vision and leadership continue to empower Hawai‘i’s student-athletes and strengthen community through mentorship and connection. 🙌
