Hawaii Narrative Project The Hawaii Narrative Project documents the lives of everyday people in Hawaii, collecting and archiving stories, cultural anecdotes and traditions.

Hawaii Narrative Project is a Honolulu based nonprofit whose goals include preserving stories of historical importance, personal tales and biographical accounts that give a unique perspective of Hawaii's residents. Our program sends ambassadors across the state to observe and record local stories and traditions that would otherwise go undocumented. The audio recordings and corresponding artifacts

will be made available on this website, and eventually hosted by collaborators, universities, museums, and libraries, as a resource for the public.
