something a little different from my usual work.

i’m still new to food photography, and honestly… there’s a lot more that goes into it than i expected. from the chef and team to the styling, lighting, and direction… every detail matters.

it’s a different kind of pace and pressure than i’m used to, but one i’ve really been enjoying.

still learning, but proud of these (with more on the way). excited to keep growing in this space and building this into my branding work.

my sessions are big on freedom, especially for little ones. letting their true nature shine. giving them a chance to just be. curious, quiet, chatty, wild.

this is also something that prepared me for my own parenthood. remembering to just let my daughter be, whatever mood she’s in. not easy, i know. but this simple phrase has allowed more flow, patience and to REALLY live in these precious moments that might otherwise go unseen (in both parenthood and family sessions).

watching the character of the kids in my sessions and my daughter come out is the best feeling ever.

these are the moments i love to capture most and feel truly honored to witness.

sweetest sunrise with J + L, counting down to their wedding later this year 🤍

engagement sessions can feel like a first date. meeting in person after all the planning over email. faces to names. a little nervous about being on camera. but it’s also where everything starts to feel natural. a chance to slow down, connect, and get comfortable together long before the wedding day. they’re also a way to build trust and give my couples a feel for how i capture moments as they unfold.

not every day looks like this, but this is often how a full “work day” goes. days can feel mundane while living them but documenting and throwing images together in a collage helps me see the magic again. grateful for how harmonious our life feels. wishing this kind of rhythm for others too 💌
