Women who want to become mothers, listen.

In this society, whether you’re a stay-at-home mom or a working mom, someone will always have something to say.

You carry your child for nine months. You go through sleepless nights, endless responsibilities, and years of putting your children first.

But somehow, motherhood alone is no longer considered “enough.”

In this generation, it feels like you’re only respected as a mother if you can do it all
raise your children, take care of your home, be present for your family, and make money at the same time.

And if you don’t earn an income? Suddenly you’re “just living off your spouse.”

As if the cooking, cleaning, planning, caregiving, emotional labor, and raising human beings every single day don’t count as work.

Motherhood is work. Paid or unpaid.

Sometimes, being a stay-at-home mom and giving all the unpaid labor you can to your family still doesn’t feel like enough in this society. Somehow, even with three little kids depending on you, you’re still expected to earn money too or eventually, the respect starts to disappear.
