This week's Thursday tidbits is full of fresh flavors, extended hours, and summer sips—perfect for grazing your way through the season.

🌿 At the Farm: Reservations are open at Hiyu Wine Farm for Lunch, Tastings, and Dinner through September. A recent lunch featured handmade ricotta gnocchi with fava tops and the season’s first shelling peas—harvested straight from their garden. Limited walk-in tastings available Sat–Sun at 3pm.

☕ In Odell: Odell Cafe has extended their hours and is adding evening specials Wed–Fri from 4–8 pm. Full hours: Mon–Tues 5am–3pm, Wed–Fri 5am–8pm, Sat 6am–4pm, Sun 7am–2pm.

🌊On the Waterfront:
Grasslands Barbecue is now open Fridays through Labor Day, with new items like smoked maitake mushrooms from Columbia Mushroom Company and a Friday-only smoked hanger steak with Fresno hot sauce, white onion, and grilled tortillas.

Solstice Wood Fire Pizza is a summer cool-down stop: Try their Frosé at the café, or the strawberry shortcake in a cup at the food truck.

Romeo Gelato is scooping again—look out for flavors featuring local raspberries and cherries from Gorge Farmer Collective.

Ferment Brewing Company not only welcomes dogs with pup cups, they’re also pouring summer favorites like Hana Pils, 12° Czech Pils, Lost in Fragaria, and Bright West IPA. Grab a spot on the deck and stay awhile.

🍒 Cherry U-pick is still on! Try in Mosier, or swing through Draper Girls Country Farm, Packer Orchards, Mt. View Orchards, and others along the Hood River Fruit Loop.
