getting married on the shores of lake maggiore is pretty hard to beat. 🇮🇹

gavin + lauren brought their closest family and friends to pallanza, italy for a wedding at villa rusconi-clerici, right on the edge of the lake.

the mountains, the water, the boats, the history of the villa. italy gave us a pretty unreal setting for this one.

but what made the day was everything happening inside of it.

the people who traveled across the world to be there. the conversations around the tables. the laughs, the speeches, the quiet moments, and everything that happened when nobody was paying attention to the camera.

we got to be there for all of it.

i am absolutely heartbroken over the passing of Hopkinsville's very own local legend, Steven "Birddog" Page.

when i first had the idea of starting creative chaos, there was only one person i wanted as our very first guest: birddog. i always said if he wouldn't come on the podcast, i wasn't doing it.

and man, did we have a time.

he had one of the kindest hearts i've ever been around. it was during that episode that i learned one of the main reasons he rode around on his lawn mower was to mow yards for elderly people who couldn't afford to have theirs done. that's just the kind of person he was.

he was known and loved by just about everyone. not only here in Hopkinsville, but i'd argue all across the country. he was a true local legend, and i'm incredibly grateful i got to spend time with him, laugh with him, and help share his story.

rest easy, birddog. you'll be missed by so many.
