Ok Horatio FBC, we are planning our first ever “Marriage Dinner/Conference Event” and it is titled “Built to Last” “Sanctity of Marriage”😊 It will be February 28th at 6:30, so save the date!! Oh, I almost forgot to mention that it is a free event!!😍

The event will be held at the Rock Hill Ranch venue, and the attire is business casual dress (Sunday morning church clothes). No children will be present at this event. Horatio FBC is providing free daycare for your young children at the church.  Mom and Dad consider this your date night.💕 If you will be using the church daycare/child care that evening, also annotate the number of children you will be dropping off below.

There will be an elegant catered dinner served, a guest speaker, lots of fun, games played, etc…🥰 It will be an event you don’t want to miss. This event will be open to the community, so spread the word. Anyone is welcome, to include those who have went through a divorce, single, or someone planning to be married. The event will be beneficial to all.

Anyone that plans to attend the event please comment/RSVP under the post on the “Church page”. It will be pinned to the top of the page. Please state on the post your name and how many will be in attendance. 👉👉👉Also, don’t forget to annotate if and how many children plan to use the daycare services being provided.👈👈👈

This will assist us in the food/catering arrangements.  If you and your spouse plan to attend the event, please send one (1) of your wedding pictures to Sis April Creech (via text, messanger, or email [email protected]). If you do not have a wedding picture, just a picture of you two will be fine. We will be making a slide show with them for the event💕 Thanks and we can’t wait to see you there!!👏👏

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our dear Mayor Borden Neel, a devoted leader, husband, father and grandfather. He was a friend to all that knew him and fiercely loved our community.

In our small community, Mayor Borden Neel was more than just our mayor – he was family. His deep love for our town showed in every decision he made and every hand he shook. Together with his beloved wife, Debbie Neel, who worked alongside him at City Hall, they dedicated themselves to serving and caring for each of us.

We will miss his kindness, his warmth, and his unwavering commitment to our town. Our prayers are with his wife and family during this difficult time. As a community, we will come together to remember and honor his legacy in the days ahead.

Native American Day is celebrated on the fourth Friday of September every year, falling on September 27 this year, as a way of honoring those who have been a part of the American tradition even before the nation of the USA came into being. However, the history of the Native Americans is written in blood and violence. After centuries of persecution, not much is left of the tribes, and many have integrated into modern society. Those still in touch with their roots will remember these events and honor their ancestor’s sacrifices.

Native American Day is a holiday that hopes to change the way people view Native Americans and their culture.

This is a holiday observed in several states in celebration of Native American culture.
