What is up with local area pages constantly turning off comments if they don't agree with someones opinion? I thought these pages were to share opinions of ALL the residents in an area. I've really noticed a frightening trend among them. They are mostly nothing more than a bunch of narcissistic people on a ego trip. Think my way or you'll be blocked or banned. Oh, this conversation is not going my way. I'm turning off the comments. They were obviously the kids you grew up with that when they didn't get their way took their toys and went home. Y'all are so immature and childish. Several pages in Surfside, Carolina Forest and Myrtle Beach are constantly doing this. The admins of these pages are the biggest trolls on their own pages.

If you follow the Sun News you need to unfollow and unfriend their page. The pop ups are what is suppose to pay for their online content. However, they are now going to charge you to see what you can see for free from other sources.

The only correction I would add to the post for clarity is that while Medic 20 is listed as Myrtle Beach it is in fact more closely associated with the Burgess area as it is located off Holmestown Rd at the County Complex Annex area.

I just want to take a moment to thank you folks for all your hard work and long hours that you have put in with this storm. You are truly an amazing group of people. You have put in many hours during this storm to keep us all safe. And I know your long hours are not over by a long shot. Please know that your dedication did not go unnoticed by our community. MURRELLS INLET, SC: A client of ours lost 3 of her miniature horses late Saturday night/early Sunday morning when they were hit by a vehicle on McDowell Shortcut. The police are trying to find the person who hit them, as the driver did not stop, and it's suspected they were excessively speeding due to the nature of the incident and the low speed limit on this road. The vehicle most likely has extensive front end damage, as parts were found on the road (color and make unknown).

If you have any information on this terrible incident, please contact the Horry County Police.
