We would like to make our first post announcing that we are the new owners of vintage photo scan. We took over the business this past winter, as it had been unopporationable since Fred and Sam nace left for Germany almost three years ago. However, the month we were going to start being officially open, the hurricane hit, and life got crazy. So instead of diving right into actual paid work, we spent several months taking in photos, videos and other significant items that were destroyed in many homes. It was a wild way to start, doing some of the hardest restorations and recovery of memories that had gotten covered in water, mudslides, and at times covered in mold. Right into the depths of some of the hardest restorations, all on a volunteer basis. It just didn’t feel right to charge yet, so we didn’t and it was so healing to be able to see these heirlooms get saved. It was how we healed, it fed our souls. Now, we are fully operational and ready to take in your VHS tapes, your camcorder tapes and even your old reel films, along with photo scanning.

We note, we are an appointment based service only since I do this work in my busy portrait studio at horseshoe plaza , and have to plan drop off and pick up times when I am not doing a photo appointment to drop off.
