one of my life mentors once said to me, “at the end of the day, you’re just a cameraman, right?” and i couldn’t agree with him more. in that i mean, all i ever wanted to do was get away from people, stare into my lens, and make everything go silent. from there, i exist in this little fantasy world where i try to see the most important details and the most microscopic events that’s change or make a story, knowing all along if i don’t capture this properly, it won’t look right and im not telling the real story. that’s always been my objective…to tell the story. little did i know that it would lead to traveling all over the world meeting beautiful people in amazing cultures and incredible locations. to simplify it though, it all goes back to my family and how my two sisters and me were raised. my parents were international people, and they taught us how to respect the world. i guess there’s something intriguing about that because has taken upon themselves to tell the story about The Outdoor Cameraman. i have not seen any of it yet, but this is a 7 part episodic series that drops episode 1 today, and will run 7 consecutive weeks on the Xpress Outdoors UToob channel.
