Crepuscular rays, a neat phenomenon when the sun shines through open areas of cumulus clouds and projects beams of light eastward. This happens as the sun is setting.

360° pic - Cliff drive, (white is thick fog) color on the Greenstone ridge is popping 50-75% while the roadside trees are 35-40% color, further south a little more color, some bright reds but they won't last much longer. pic: Sept 23rd

Copper Harbor color progression slowed down and actually reversed this last week due to the rain and warmer temps. Central and SW views off the main overlook have the best color around 40-50% color, while western views towards Lake Bailey are around 30% color..
