DJ Dr. Souss Legendary DJ, performer, and producer, A.K.A Joseph Anthony Sousa Jr., was born in Brooklyn, NY. Influenced by New York's Hip Hop & Breakdance scene at the age of 15 he moved down South to Louisiana. He mastered his skills as a Night Club DJ and became one of the legendary DJs in New Orleans by the age of 21, mixing and scratching with his "Soussafied" style at the hottest nightclubs,

holding residencies at House of Blues, Aqua, 360 WTC, and Kenny Key West. His popularity for the past 30 years has allowed him to travel all across the United States headlining and opening for the Music Industry's top artists like Tiesto, Egyptian Lover, Stevie B, Crystal Waters & Quest Love just to name a few. Since the 2019 Pandemic that caused the World to stop, DJ Dr. Souss hasn't missed a BEAT turning his passion and focus towards writing and producing his own music blending his “Soussafied” style. This new path has allowed DJ Dr. Souss to compose many styles within different genres bringing his EDM “Soussafied” style to Hip Hop, Breaks, House, and World music. In 2020 he released his first track titled “The Serum”, followed by “Horn Play behind the Second Line”. In 2021 he released “More Happy Days Ahead”, “Hypnotica Utopia” and "Step Outside". DJ Dr. Souss' accomplishments have given him so many opportunities within the Music Industry, his passion and love of music have fueled him to pursue his dreams of producing and writing for opportunities within the TV, Movie, and Commercial industries.
