When the twin towers fell in lower Manhattan, I was on an LHD Navy Vessel in the waters between Hawaii & San Diego.

We had no communication with the outside world. Everything was cut off.

We stayed in the water for hours not knowing if, we would go to the port or turn around and head for New York.

We returned to port under heavy military es**rt. When communication was restored, I seen the videos of the terrorist attacks and tears filled my eyes.

Being a New Yorker, I have been inside those exact towers. It hit my heart really hard.

I will ALWAYS REMEMBER & Will NEVER FORGET those who lives were lost & changed FOREVER. 🙏🇺🇸🫡😞🗽
