TRIM.TONE.TREATMENT 👩🏻‍🔧

It’s hard to let go of length, but when there’s an area that is much more finer than the rest of the hair then it’s probably best to create fullness to trim those ends.

Afterwards a treatment will help speed up the repairing process! It’s important to talk to your stylist to see which treatment works best for you. In this case k18 was the perfect match for her to start her repairing + strengthening journey

Now the tone is totally up to what your hair goal is. If the color is a bit off or just not the shade you’re looking for-nothing a toner can help shift to your liking 😊

The thing most people sleep on….

Texture spray! Now we can say it’s our favorite product and it may seem irrelevant 😆 BUT the style just becomes so much better with TEXTURE SPRAY!

Not many know how to use it, but we are here to tell you it’s super simple. Check below to know how!

•curl/style your hair as normal
•grab a wide tooth or your fingers to comb through your hair

Now here’s the fun 🤩

Totally optional, but-turn your head down and grab your texture spray (our favorite is .murphy bedroom hair) and spray away!

You don’t have to bend down. You can totally just spray all around your hair and in specific areas that you want those curls to pop a little more.

Then there you have it! You’ll have effortless, soft, and body added to your hair 😁

UNPOPULAR OPINION: V cuts are NOT a one size fits all 🫣🫢 (long opinion comin in hot)

So hear us out. We get it…the shape of the V cut is nice from the back and when it’s styled it looks so good, oh and let’s not forget the IMPORTANT part…it keeps your length! What a great cut choice right? In reality sadly it doesn’t work that way 🫤 this type of cut just doesn’t work for all hair DENSITIES

If you have thick hair (a lot of it) you are more able to get away with it better than those who have finer, thinner hair. If you have long hair, but it’s fine and thin, but yet you are left with “my hair just isn’t full enough” thought-more than likely this cut will NOT give you that fullness.

We’ve seen many people come with this cut and have fine/thin hair densities and it never fails that they are searching for fullness. The V cut creates many many layers (which isn’t bad) but it’s not what fine hair needs. Layers are still great for movement and texture, but you can’t overdo it cause then you’ll actually feel like you have less hair with that many layers.

Also the tip (longest part of the haircut) eventually will feel like you definitely don’t have much going on or it may get shorter due to potential split ends/breakage over time and if that’s not taken care of then those old ends will break creating a more jagged cut….and that’s for all parts of your hair not just that tip.

With that being said please consult with your stylist next time you’re in a salon and see what your stylist recommends for YOUR hair. The inspos are nice, but remember not one size fits all 🙃
