Your lower back isn’t fragile (forever) - it’s adaptable.
Discs, joints, muscles, and even to some degree nerves, all respond to the right kind of loading. The research is clear: progressive training reduces recurrence, rebuilds tissue tolerance, and outperforms rest every time. Find something, anything, active that is pain free and start there…eventually surpass where you were when the pain began…
👉Swipe through to understand what actually gets injured and what the evidence says about training it back to strength.

Controversial

You need more than one passive stretch to change the way you feel.

Doing this 3-5x a day for 2 weeks will make a bigger shift and just one stretch.

This is why I hold weekly mobility classes for the last 2 years. Play the long game.

Hasn’t heard of mobility training

The reason I started this page is because so many people have tried stretches that don’t help them.

There are ways to move that will help you feel better. I’ve got over 1000 videos here and over 2 years of 20min mobility routines on my online community

Stretch Club isn’t your grandpas stretches. It’s mobility. Learn how to move to feel better. Link in bio

(And if you’re a day or two late jts in the highlights on my page)

Quiet consistency strikes again

Creating new ways of moving to create new ways to feel

Quiet consistency!!! Make new habits for how your body feels by making new habits of movement

You can also stretch with me every week if you really want to make lasting changes

Now over 2 years of 20 minute mobility routines with new classes weekly

Currently we are using light weights to strengthen our shoulders to improve posture

We also do a little core work, a little hip mobility and always a full body warm up to start the routine

Link on my page to join.

You haven’t tried these

Can’t wait until someone tells me the delts aren’t the posterior rotator cuff in the comments

Try something new! 3 sets of 10 reps!

You want to make this slightly uncomfortable to create new ways of moving and break the pain cycle

Can you commit to 100 in 1 week?

No gimmicks. Just quiet consistency. Less than 15 reps a day. Slow and steady wins the race.

You’ve been challenged

If you haven’t gotten full resolution of your back problem it may be bc you haven’t addressed the above and below the area.

Less that 15 reps a day. I suggest you do both sides. You may notice one side is different….

If you want more quiet consistency I host a weekly mobility class.

Right now we are using light weights to rebuild our posture. Among a few other challenges.

Check the Stretch Club link on my main feed.
