Our generation should do better.

We should understand that our first children are NOT our co-parents.

Understand that your first child is NOT responsible for taking care of your younger children.

You first child is YOUR CHILD! You are the parents.

You chose to have s£x and bring more children to this world. For as long as you are alive and capacitated, IT IS NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF YOUR FIRST CHILD TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR OTHER CHILDREN!

You can't choose to have a child at 50 expecting that your first child whom you had at 30 will raise your children for you. It's not your first child that followed you to have the s£x.

The persons who made the decision to have s€x, get pregnant or impregnate someone, and bring a child to life are the people who are 100% responsible for raising the child(ren) they gave birth to.

In Naija, it's almost like a curse to be a first child because parents of the past generations gave birth to children and dumped the responsibility of raising such children on their older children.

Our generation MUST do better.
