When we first came out publicly as a throuple, the cost was steep. We lost friendships, faced rejection from family, and Char’s parents—believing she was trapped in some manipulative arrangement—offered her a way out, a return home. It was painful, disorienting, and deeply revealing.
Later, when we launched our podcast—not just to tell our story, but to create a space for other throuples to share, to learn, and to be seen—we were met with ridicule, harsh judgment, and countless warnings that this path would end in heartbreak.
And in a way, it did—many times. But not the kind of heartbreak people imagined.
There were indeed disasters—sweet, beautiful disasters—that stretched each of us beyond our ego, cracked open our armor, and demanded a deeper kind of love. Through those moments, we grew—not just as a relationship, but as individuals choosing again and again to stay, to listen, to evolve.
From the beginning, we made a commitment: to burn the ships, to remove every mental exit sign, and to meet each challenge not with fear, but with curiosity and care. This path has not always been easy, but it has always been ours—sacred, raw, alive.
I truly can’t imagine a more soul-aligned journey than the one we are walking together.
Cheers to each of you, and your courage to show up vulnerably. 🥂
May you walk your own path with fierce love and open hearts.
