Are the Houston Texans for Real? I’m Not Sold

The Houston Texans arrive at Arrowhead riding a four-game winning streak, including strong victories over the Colts and Bills. Their defense ranks among the NFL’s top units statistically and will certainly try to take advantage of a weakened Kansas City offensive line.

Despite that momentum, I’m not buying the Texans as true contenders. Their recent success feels like “Fool’s Gold.” Houston’s performance hasn’t convinced me they can beat a desperate Kansas City team in prime time.

Sorry, Texans fans—don’t let expectations get too high just yet.

Shedeur Sanders to stay QB1 for the Browns!

After his 1st Career Start in the NFL, Shedeur Sanders has earned his spot as QB1 going into week 13 where the Browns host the San Francisco 49ers. Sanders played a nervous, yet impressive game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. Sanders threw 209 yards for 11/20 completion, with one touchdown and 1 interception. Not bad for a 2nd string QB that only had a few practice snaps with the starting offense. SMH!

I think Shedeur looked very poised, focused, and he wasn't afraid of this moment that finally came in week 12 of the season. Dillon Gabriel has cleared his concussion protocols and can go back on the field next game. However, Kevin Stefanski announced today that Sanders will remain as starter going into the next game. I'm definitely wishing nothing but success for this young man.

Detroit setting the tone early

The Lions predictably put away a Depleted Washington Commanders team yesterday at . We definitely see the consistency of the Lions going into the middle of this season. Not to mention that Dan Campbell decided to take over on calling the Offense yesterday, coming behind that upsetting loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Next Sunday Night will prove to be a test for the Lions going into Philly to play the raining Superbowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles

There are some things the Lions have to clean up. I will say, the are a little bit of Fools Gold this season, but the must take care of business early in this next game against the defending Champs.
