There’s not too many places in the city that see me multiple times a week! But when it comes to MOCA Lounge i’ll always be there before the doors even open! I told you before about the bottomless brunch (which is still so tea btw) but I had never been on a Saturday night so I had to test that out for you. It’s for research! They officially added DJ Mr Rogers to their Saturday nights so you know it’s a vibe already.

I will die on the hill that I should not have to pay to sit down or pay to park! So mocha will ever have a special place in my heart because there’s no sections, no cover charges, free parking, the drinks are strong AND good, the food is even better (those lemon pepper wings get ordered every time), and the staff are friendly! I know we’re all looking to catch a vibe on a Saturday that’s not gonna cost us our first born! Trust me test out Moca! And if you see me there just know it’s not the first time this week.

Welcome to On My Roster 🏈

This is part one of my series where I’m gonna show you all my favorite places to watch the game in Houston. Now we’ve already established that I’m officially the sideline coach. But I can’t make it to every practice in every game. I am a busy girl! So on the days that I can’t make it and I don’t feel like watching the game at home. These are a few of my favorite ones.

We’re starting off strong with Madhouse HTX . If you’ve been here for a while, I’ve told y’all about them before they used to see me all the time when I can work from home! They’re happy hours starts at 3 PM! And it goes all the way until 11 PM! So my friends I get off of late you’ll still be able to enjoy. We love an inclusive spot. On Thursdays is there R&B and trap night and whoever that DJ is he really be having it rockin in there! They have multiple TVs for you to be able to see the game, a great drink menu with $5 lemon drops and margaritas, and the food hits! Get the lamb chops. Trust me, pookie!
