Phil Robertson, the beloved patriarch of the Robertson family and star of the reality TV series “Duck Dynasty,” passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 79, following a battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Known for his unwavering Christian faith, Phil’s life journey from humble beginnings to national fame served as an inspiration to many. 
Born in Vivian, Louisiana, Phil founded the Duck Commander company in 1972, turning his passion for duck hunting into a successful business. His authentic lifestyle and strong family values captivated audiences when “Duck Dynasty” premiered on A&E in 2012, running for 11 seasons until 2017. The show is set to return with “Duck Dynasty: The Revival” on June 1, 2025, focusing on the next generation of the Robertson family.  
In his final moments, Phil shared heartfelt words with his family. His granddaughter, Sadie Robertson, recalled him saying, “Full strength ahead!” , while his son, Willie Robertson, remembered his father referring to him as “my brother,” emphasizing their shared mission in faith. These parting words reflect Phil’s enduring spirit and commitment to his beliefs.   
Phil’s legacy extends beyond television; he was a devoted husband to Kay Robertson, a father of five, and a grandfather. His life was a testament to transformation through faith, having turned to Christianity in his late twenties, which he often credited for changing the course of his life.
