I have seen plenty of eating contests, and even done a few… but 45 minutes of tacos is a different animal.

🌮La Lupita Taco Restaurant served tacos loaded with asada beef, pastor pork, and chicken fajita. They tasted great, but 45 minutes is too long of a time for a contest of non-stop eating.

Most eating contests are short and brutal.This one was 45 minutes.

I went to La Lupita Taco Restaurant in NW Houston for a taco eating contest featuring asada beef, pastor pork, and chicken fajita tacos. The rule was simple: whoever eats the most tacos in 45 minutes wins.

A 10-minute contest already feels like a marathon… so this was basically a taco ultra-marathon.

Applebee’s All-You-Can-Eat is back with boneless wings, riblets, Double Crunch Shrimp, fries, and coleslaw.

Normally, they bring one entrée at a time. This location brought me all three each round. So naturally… I tried to eat as many rounds as I could.

It’s National Burger Day!!! This felt like the perfect time to bring back one of the hardest burger challenges I’ve ever attempted. 🍔.

This wasn’t just a big burger, it was the El Jefe Grande Burger Challenge at Kenny’s Burger Joint — a massive 7-pound, 7,000-calorie monster, and it has already beaten me twice before. But hey… 3rd time’s a charm, right.

Fortunately, this is also one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in a challenge.

Will I finally beat it on my third attempt? What about Vegas HEAVY D? Will he beat it?

This giant donut challenge was a bad idea… but HeavyD and I did it anyway. 🍩

I went back to Bonnie’s Donuts to take on a 5 pound Apple Pie Cronut Cinnamon Roll, while Vegas HEAVY D battled a 10 pound strawberry-filled red, white, and blue Long John.

The sugar was brutal… especially after I had competed in an MLE sausage eating contest about 18 hours earlier.
