What an awesome experience. I am very happy that I got to see George Clinton , my friend Kevin Oliver , and Parliament! Hard to describe the energy in the room. It was like one big party on stage and everyone was invited. People coming on and off the stage with George orchestrating the entire thing!

My “southern rock banger” arsenal for today’s session at Across The Road, LLC.
This week "Back to Blue" hit #1 on the Roots Music Report Blues Rock Top 50 Songs Chart. It's a wild feeling and an accomplishment that means a lot to me because I know that it means the music I got to make with people I respect tremendously is getting heard all over the world in music communities that apparently enjoy what we're makin'!
It's been a long road finding an audience like that for us but I'm just truly grateful to have the opportunity to devote my life to music in the first place. Thanks to anyone and everyone who has ever supported myself and my musical endeavors. Including everyone involved in making this project happen. (tagged below with love) - I know there are a billion ways to spend your time and $$ and it's not lost or taken for granted by myself or my team. If you give me the chance, I'll keep doing this forever. Thanks ya'll!

I'm really proud of the hard work and inspired by the "let's make this happen" attitude that everyone on my team has put into helping these tunes make their way into all of your ears, especially after the year we've all had in the music industry and collectively as a society.
This tune was written towards the beginning of the pandemic and is about turning towards the passions that fuel you when things feel like they might be coming apart; or sometime's telling yourself it's okay to pour some cheap red wine, put on some records and just sit in your feels. Either way, it was comforting to myself to write this tune and it was a journey to arrive at the recording we have today. I hope you bluesier ppl out there dig it!
