✨ MONDAY MOMENTUM → WEDNESDAY DROP ✨

On Monday, we talked about one simple trick to get your writing moving again:
ten focused minutes.

Today, we’re taking that idea deeper.

Our new blog on The Author’s Edge breaks down
how the 10-Minute Rule actually works,
why your brain responds to small writing sessions,
and how tiny bursts of effort can build real, lasting momentum.

If starting feels hard…
if writing feels heavy…
if you’ve been avoiding your manuscript for longer than you want to admit…

This one is for you.

✨ MONDAY MOMENTUM
Today’s momentum builder is simple, but it changes everything:

𝐒𝐞𝐭 𝐚 𝟏𝟎-𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝐢𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬.
𝑇ℎ𝑎𝑡’𝑠 𝑖𝑡.

Not an hour.
Not a whole chapter.
Just ten focused minutes.

Because here’s the trick:
Your brain can’t panic about 10 minutes.
But once you start, you almost always keep going.

Momentum isn’t about writing more.
It’s about making it easy to begin.

So today — don’t try to be perfect.
Just try for ten minutes.

• marketing your theme (not just your book)
• building a niche content ecosystem
• creating long-term reader loyalty
• using search to make your books discoverable
• collaborations that actually grow your audience

This is the real, meaty stuff.

✨ MONDAY MOMENTUM
Today’s reminder for writers:

You don’t need inspiration to start —
you need to start to find inspiration.

Open the document.
Write one imperfect sentence.
Your brain will follow your lead.

Momentum > motivation.
Every. Single. Time.

Did you 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑘 about writing this week?
Did you 𝑜𝑝𝑒𝑛 your document, stare at it, and then decide you deserved a snack instead?

Congratulations. You’re a writer. 😂

Here’s to another week of progress, procrastination, and plotting the next great story — one coffee at a time. ☕📚

✏️ MONDAY TIP FOR WRITERS

Stop editing while you write.

Seriously.
Your first draft is not a sculpture.
It’s wet cement.

Every time you stop to “fix a sentence,” you’re interrupting your creative flow. Editing uses a different part of your brain — the logical, analytical side. Writing lives in the chaotic, imaginative side.

When you bounce between the two, you’re basically asking your brain to tap dance and do taxes at the same time.

✅ Write messy.
✅ Write fast.
✅ Edit later.

Your story deserves to exist before you start judging it.

🖋️ Monday Muse ✨

Every great book starts long before the first chapter.
It begins with a plan — or at least a few scribbles that become one.

Writers often think outlining limits creativity, but here’s the truth: a good outline gives your ideas room to breathe.

Stay tuned for Wednesday’s post on 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐴𝑢𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑟’𝑠 𝐸𝑑𝑔𝑒, where we’ll break down how to turn your idea into a clear, flexible roadmap for your story. 🗺️📚

Here’s your friendly Friday reminder: progress beats perfection every single time. ✍️
So write the messy draft. Make the creative chaos.
You can polish later — but first, you have to begin.
