What does it truly take to become a doctor—while still trying to remain human?
In Learning to Heal, Liz Casper pulls back the curtain on the demanding, beautiful, and often brutal world of medical training. With unflinching honesty and heartfelt vulnerability, she shares the challenges of pursuing a medical doctorate while raising a young family, exposing the emotional, physical, and spiritual weight that comes with learning to care for others.
Through vivid storytelling and profound reflection, Liz reveals the quiet moments of doubt, the exhilarating breakthroughs, and the deeply human experiences that shape a physician. Her words offer a rare and intimate look at the intersection of medicine, motherhood, resilience, and the enduring hope that keeps healers moving forward.
More than a memoir of medical training, Learning to Heal is a celebration of the human spirit. Aspiring physicians, students, seasoned doctors, and anyone curious about the emotional landscape of medicine will find wisdom, solace, and inspiration in these pages.
This is not just a book about becoming a doctor—
it is a story about learning to heal, survive, grow, and carry compassion through every chapter of life.

London, 1888. As the British pound rises and the empire celebrates its prosperity, the streets of Whitechapel tell a far darker story—one of poverty, violence, and fear, where Jack the Ripper stalks the night and women vanish without warning.
High above the chaos lives Viola, hidden away in a tower that serves as both sanctuary and prison. Born Vincent, she fled her family to live according to her true nature, long before there were words to describe the anguish of gender dysphoria. With no guidance, no resources, and no protection, Viola survives as best she can in a world that offers her little mercy.
Drawn into the control of a dangerous benefactor, Viola is forced into a life catering to powerful men with particular desires, valued only for what she can provide, never for who she is. As the women around her fall victim to the Ripper, Viola becomes haunted by a terrifying question: if she were cut open, would the secret of her identity be found within her—and would that truth be the very thing that condemns her?
When she dares to fall in love with one of her patrons, a fragile hope emerges. He promises escape, a future far from the blood-soaked streets of London. Faced with the choice to flee or be destroyed, Viola risks everything for the chance to live openly, love freely, and exist in the light as herself.
The Violets Beneath is a haunting exploration of identity, survival, and forbidden hope, giving voice to the countless lives buried beneath history, whose stories were never allowed to bloom.

Signs of the times are pointing to the reality of these being the last days. Bible prophecies are being fulfilled daily, adding to the fact that Jesus will return soon for His Bride, the church. Since this the case, an awareness of promised happenings begins to develop before our very eyes.
God supernaturally orders the steps of His people, Israel, to come home. With the church taken in the rapture, and Israel in their homeland, God allows great tribulations to seize the world.
Midway through the seven-year tribulation period, God will take His people to a protected place for the last three and a half years and minister them as Moses did in the wilderness, all the time preparing them to enter into a new garden of Eden, the Millennial Kingdom. There, they will reside for a thousand years. Biblical illustrations are presented to us that stimulate the imagination: the beauty of the setting, the productivity of the terrain, the unspeakable joy and peace experienced – but, mostly, the pe*******on of true, spiritually motivated worship in the millennial temple and around the city’s sanctuary pool.
Of course, this poses questions: “What does it mean to ‘reign’ with Christ?” We address this in this publication. “Will every Christian ‘reign’ with Christ?” No! We define this scenario. “Then who?” The answer is in the rendering.

A gripping novel of identity, deception, and the dangerous cost of reinvention.
When a grisly murder leads to the conviction of a young woman who swears she’s innocent, Detectives Mascher and Cardozo sense something deeply wrong with the case. Their instincts prove justified when a shocking discovery reveals a man who looks exactly like the victim’s alleged accomplice—except he’s alive, well, and living under a different name.
Across the country in Riverside, California, Giorgio Di Napoli is rebuilding his life with a tragic past he repeats whenever asked: a grieving financial adviser who lost his wife and son and has fled New York for a quieter existence. The town embraces him. Friends welcome him. Women are drawn to him. But Giorgio’s story is not what it seems—and neither are the people who have become entangled in his new life.
As the detectives push against a system eager to close the file and Giorgio maneuvers through a web of secrets, false identities, and dangerous alliances, two narratives race toward a collision that will expose the truth… and the price of escaping it.
A sharp, character-driven thriller, Juxtaposing Giorgio explores how far a person will go to bury the past—and how far others will go to uncover it.

What happens when an ordinary woman becomes an accidental landlord—and discovers just how messy, maddening, and meaningful that world can be?
In Slumlord: Not a Millionaire, Sandy Jacobsen pulls back the curtain on her real-life journey through the unpredictable world of rental housing. Beginning as a naive tenant with little life experience, Sandy eventually becomes a landlord to an unforgettable cast of characters—some hilarious, some heartbreaking, and some who test the very limits of patience, grace, and human understanding.
From tenants who vanish without warning to properties destroyed through carelessness or chaos, Sandy faces it all while trying to build a life, a home, and a sense of self. With sharp wit, candid honesty, and surprising vulnerability, she explores the universal themes hidden within these stories: trust, resilience, forgiveness, and the strange ways people shape us—whether we want them to or not.
Part memoir, part social reflection, Slumlord: Not a Millionaire is not a guide to real estate. It’s a deeply human look at the small injustices, big lessons, and unexpected victories that shape who we become.
Sometimes the hardest people teach us the most. Sometimes the smallest homes hold the biggest stories.

For decades, people have debated over the different views on the end times. Many Christians find the subject confusing, while others vow to avoid the discussion altogether. With all the diverse perspectives out there, how can one come to a clearer understanding of the return of Christ?

In Signs of the End, Steve Gill unpacks Jesus's words to His disciples about the signs of His own return in Mark 13 (the Olivet Discourse). This book will show that, through examination of Jesus's teaching on the Mount of Olives, one can more effectively interpret the more challenging texts of the end times in light of the clearer words provided by Jesus Christ Himself. This book will answer such questions as the following:
How are we to understand the Olivet Discourse in relation to the tribulation?
When Jesus talks about the temple, is He talking about the first-century temple or a future rebuilt temple?
Does Jesus have anything to say about the rapture?
How does the Millennium fit in with what Jesus teaches about His own return?
How are we to live in light of Christ's future coming?

For decades, people have debated over the different views on the end times. Many Christians find the subject confusing, while others vow to avoid the discussion altogether. With all the diverse perspectives out there, how can one come to a clearer understanding of the return of Christ? In , St...
