🤡Joker 2 Review 🤡 Not as bad as everyone is making it out to be.
The 1st Film a dive into mental health and escapism
The 2nd Film a dive into the mental hardships of expectations and abandonment
Contrary to popular opinion, I believe Joker 2 has merit, despite its flaws and imperfect ex*****on. The musical aspects may hurt its rewatch value. I find the problem to be with the Critics' comparisons to the classic Joker clown Prince of crime overlooking the film's thought-provoking exploration of mental health and symbolism. Also that by rejecting the movie due to unmet expectations, viewers paradoxically validating the central theme of the film. Instead of engaging by sympathizing and caring about Arthur as a person, they prioritize the spectacle and their preconceived notions of The Joker wanting chaos and destruction to live up to The Jokers reputation. In due to this expectation the audience parallels into the characteristics of Harley Quinn Rather than empathizing with Arthur's struggles, they prioritize the spectacle and their preconceived notions dismissing the value of individuals once they cease to entertain highlighting a critical need for empathy.
This pattern echoes tragic cases like Juice WRLD and Kurt Cobain, emphasizing the need to prioritize individuals over their public personas. We must recognize the harm caused by our expectations and reevaluate our relationship with entertainment and individuals.
