This is the definition of a full circle, pinch me moment! 💫
Back in the day, I was 10 years old 👑 and won the title of Princess of Miami. That little pageant girl ignited a lifelong, fierce obsession with fashion, styling, and designers 👠💄👗. That passion never faded which is why I went all out for this event, coordinating my dress, jewelry, purse, and even my gold eyeshadow ✨💚👜💅🏽.

Last night I experienced one of the best events I have ever attended 🌟 at the 10th Annual Fashion Woodlands Fashion Show held at the home of the phenomenal Theresa Roemer 🖤. Getting to meet her and be a guest in her space was incredible. For those who don’t know, she’s the legendary Closet Queen 👑💎 thanks to her famous multi story, custom closets which she primarily uses as a venue for huge charity events 💃🏽.

This glamorous night raised substantial funds for the Make A Wish® Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana 💙✨, a charity dedicated to giving hope and strength to children with critical illnesses 🕊️💫. It’s an honor to celebrate high fashion when it benefits such a meaningful cause 💖.

I am still in shock and so grateful for this unforgettable night 💕🙌🏼

Back at Wula Buhuan for my full tasting experience 🍜🔥 This Briar Forest gem continues to impress with its rich flavors, spice, and authentic Sichuan-style dishes 🥢

This time I went all in with a full tasting and shared my honest reactions in real time 🎥 Every plate brought its own story and you can truly taste the passion behind each bite 😋

If you love traditional Chinese cuisine made with heart and heat, Wula Buhuan deserves a spot on your foodie list ❤️

There’s something so comforting about authentic Chinese food 🍜✨ Wula Buhuan in Briar Forest has been serving up traditional Sichuan flavors for six years and you can taste the passion in every bite 🥢

I actually did this tasting solo since Mario was at work 👩🏻‍🍳 and honestly I didn’t mind at all. It felt like a little foodie therapy session 💕

The chef here brings over three decades of experience to the kitchen and it shows. Every plate is bold, balanced, and full of flavor 🔥 From the nutty Dan Dan noodles 🍜 to the perfectly spiced chili oil dumplings 🥟 everything felt authentic and freshly made.

The tomato egg soup 🍅🥚 was warm and cozy, the combination fried rice 🍚 was flavorful and filling, and the pepper steak 🥩 plus orange chicken 🍊 gave classic comfort done right. The Sichuan shrimp 🍤 and salt and pepper shrimp 🧂🍤 were crispy perfection, and the spicy pot loaded with meats and vegetables 🥬🥩🍗 was the star of the night.

Six years strong and still keeping true to real Sichuan flavor. Wula Buhuan is a must-try if you love bold, authentic Chinese cuisine right here in the Energy Corridor ❤️

We stopped by the grand opening of Murray’s Pizza & Wine last night to support our friend Deets on his new spot 🍕🍷

Right next door you’ll also find Leaf & Grain, his other hit restaurant known for fresh, healthy bites 🥗

🥬 Local Lettuces Salad – light, crisp and refreshing
🥩 Beef Carpaccio – thinly sliced, flavorful and perfectly seasoned
🍕 Pepperoni Pizza – cheesy, crispy and full of flavor
🍞 Italian Bread Pudding – warm, sweet and topped with the perfect crunch of pistachio brittle

Everything was a 10 out of 10 and the atmosphere made it even better. Congrats again to Deets and the team on such an amazing opening night 🎉
