HOUSTON ATTORNEY CHARGED WITH FELONY BE******TY AFTER WIFE’S CAMERAS CATCH EVERYTHING
A 56-year-old Houston estate planning attorney has been charged with felony be******ty after his own wife turned him in to police.
Steven Tyler Swain is accused of sexually abusing the family dog, a dog named Shipley, in November of 2025. His wife had installed surveillance cameras inside the home while contractors were doing work there. When she later reviewed the footage, she told investigators she saw her husband on camera with Shipley and said she was quote 100% sure it was him.
She handed the footage over to authorities and removed Shipley from the home to keep the dog safe.
Charges have been filed in the 183rd District Court in Harris County, and an arrest warrant has been issued. As of reporting, Swain is not in custody.
Under Texas Penal Code Section 21.09, be******ty is classified as a state jail felony, which carries a sentence of 180 days to two years.
This is a developing story. Shipley is currently safe with the wife.
