We’re looking for students who care about TSU. The culture, the conversations, the wins, and the real issues that affect us every day on campus.

If you enjoy writing, storytelling, journalism, photography, video, social media, or just asking the right questions, there’s a place for you here. You don’t need a journalism background just curiosity, consistency, and a willingness to show up.

The Herald exists to amplify student voices, document the HBCU experience, and tell our stories from a student lens because our perspectives deserve to be heard and preserved.

The TSU Herald Presents: The Roundtable

On November 19th at 2:30 PM, The TSU Herald will host a bold new forum placing one TSU administrator at the center of an open conversation with ten students.

TSU Surrounded is designed to create honest, solutions-focused dialogue between leadership and the student body. This event invites students to share their experiences, ask direct questions, and engage in transparent discussion about the issues shaping campus life.

Students can sign up to participate as one of the ten speakers or RSVP to attend using the link in bio.

The annual coronation ceremony was as always a night of elegance and celebration. Please congratulate our lovely Mr. and Mrs. Texas Southern University.

Texas Southern University Women’s Volleyball Team brought home a huge win against Grambling State University! The Tigers came in hot, taking the first set 25–12. The second set was a nail-biter, but TSU pulled through 29–27. In the third set, the Tigers sealed the deal
25–12, sweeping GSU 3–0! 🐅🏐 Top performers of the match included Grace Hill, who dominated with 12 kills and 10 digs; Kourtni Collier, who served up 5 aces; Morgynne McQueen, who got above the net with 2 blocks; and Ava Ray, who dished out a tremendous 18 assists. Congratulations to our Lady Tigers on an incredible performance! 👏🏾
