instagram premium but it’s just me telling you a book from 1992 did what 6 years of failing to journal consistently couldn’t 😙 (& nope, it’s not a new planner or a prettier notebook!!!)

lessons this book has taught me:

1. I’m WAY more task motivated than I thought.. I need a framework or tasks, not more willpower

2. I should trust myself after changing careers in my 20s but STILL struggle to silence doubt/fears & encourage myself

3. thinking about something every day is not taking action on it !!!! I had to see it in my own handwriting to really believe it

it took me years to find the courage to change careers and every day I am so so grateful I did 🫶🏼

we need to talk about the situation that is the Texas shaped lazy river rooftop !!! after living in houston for five years & never experiencing it, we decided to have a staycation & see what it’s all about 👀

if you’re a local looking for a staycation, day trip summer plans to beat the heat, or just need a no-stress place to stay in houston, The Marriott Marquis is for youuu 🤌🏼

we didn’t intentionally plan for a car free weekend, but the location is PERFECT if you want easy access to plenty of dining options, walkable areas, coffee, & activities!!

& can confirm, the Texas shaped lazy river is truly iconic 🤠
