my tips on how to be informed, not consumed right now. it’s hard being so aware & trying to find balance on navigating our mental health + overall consumption.
There are infinite ways to liberate & be an activist; quiet, loud, in the streets, on the couch, here, there, everywhere. We also need to keep our battery charged. I worked really hard the past 2-years to protect democracy & fight our freedoms like reproductive rights. I’ve been in the streets 💃🏻 & will continue be there, but I needed to create a toolkit for myself to help regulate my nervous system - my mind, body & soul.
I’m sharing it with you. You can take one tip, all the tips or leave it all. You can also be inspired & create your own toolkit.
I want to acknowledge that I understand the way that I navigate the world and walk out the door as a white woman is different and less weight on my shoulders than other marginalized communities, especially the BIPOC community.
