Three images from Leslie Hewitt's longrunning series "Riffs on Real Time" featured in the forthcoming Gulf Coast 39.1. They began as "sculptural experiments" compiling everyday objects: old snapshots, file folders, magazines, photocopies, paperbacks, and after moving to her new studio in Houston, these three from 2026 were made on its smooth, stained, and cracked concrete surface.
