Update: Missing UH Student Jade “Sage” McKissic Found Deceased

Tragic news has emerged in the case of Jade “Sage” McKissic, the 20-year-old University of Houston student who was previously reported missing. Thursday morning (Sept 18), the Houston Police Department confirmed to the university's publication, The Cougar, that she has been found deceased.

We’re deeply saddened to share that Jade McKissic, the 20-year-old UH student who was reported missing, has been found deceased, according to Houston Police.

At this time, no cause of death has been released.

Jade was a junior studying strategic communications and advertising. Our hearts go out to her family, friends, and the entire Cougar community. 💔
