Transparent moment:
I nearly quit before I ever began sharing my “Gastro Joy” because I was worried about all the if’s instead of imagining all the when’s that would bring wins. I would be afraid but I kept cooking and sharing, each time hearing feedback about the joy of my food. So I decided to share this because this is how I got out of my own way… I chose my lane and learned to navigate MY journey through faith, even if it were mustard seed size on some days. So here it is:
The thing you’ve dreamed of doing, please start taking the steps in faith, trusting God fully. If imposter syndrome begins to rise up, remember who created you and what was declared about you from the start of time for humankind in Genesis 1:26-29.
You won’t always get it right, but your faithfulness will still make room for you.
Just do it, again and again and again… until you’re doing it with ease, with confidence and in step with the dream you once dreamed and the prayers you’ve long forgotten about.
Trust in yourself because Yah is there, literally within you. Who do you think planted the seed that became the dream in the first place?
