I actually kinda think about this a lot… most business owners think their social media problem is a posting problem. It’s usually not. 😅
It’s a thinking problem, nobody’s actually sitting down and deciding what the account is trying to do before hitting post. That’s the difference between an account that grows and one that just stays busy. As a Houston social media manager, that’s the part of the job that maybe I should take my own advice and speak about more often!🤪🫣

People ask me all the time why I don’t just take on more clients. To me, the answer is easy, the more clients in the same industry means my best ideas start getting split between them, and that’s not fair to anyone. So I simply don’t do it. One client per niche, always 💁🏼‍♀️, which means whoever I say yes to gets a SMM who isn’t secretly saving their favorite ideas for someone else down the road or using your page to test things out with someone else’s. 🫣

Hopping on this trend because it's just too fun not to. Also low-key one of my favorite parts of the job, figuring out which trends actually fit a brand and which ones don't. This one works for almost anyone honestly, it's got that flexible, girly-pop energy that translates across niches way easier than people think. And also, kind of glad I only take one client per niche right now, because if I had five florists I'd be doing this same trend five different times trying to make it not look identical. Anyway. Kinda chic to have a job I actually enjoy.

Here’s the real reason I only take one client per niche as a Houston social media manager. My brain doesn’t work well when I have two clients in the same industry, I want every single idea to be as creative as possible for that one person, not split between two wedding planners trying not to look like copies of each other. Your personality is what makes your business stand out, and I want your page to match that completely, not compete with someone else’s for my best ideas. This is also just how I end up loving my clients like actual besties, because I’m not juggling, I’m fully in it with you.

Not every post on my page has huge numbers, and I keep them up anyway. 💅🏼

Some of my most useful content for someone deciding whether to hire me only got a few hundred views, but the information in it still matters. It shows you who I am, how I think, what I actually do for clients. Numbers tell part of the story, but they’re not the whole story. 🤷🏼‍♀️
