If you’re a fan of The Vampire Diaries, you can’t miss this experience. A big part of the series was filmed in Covington, Georgia, and visiting this town feels like stepping right into the show.
Some details from this experience and why I recommend it to every TVD fan:
• The Mystic Grill from the series is a real spot in Covington! After the show took off, they opened a restaurant in the same building, and it’s a must-visit for fans:
• The streets are full of shops where you can grab souvenirs and series-themed stuff. My fave was , don’t miss their iconic jackets!
• The energy and vibe in this town are just magical. Everyone here is super friendly, and of course, they’ve all watched the show.
• This is the perfect friends’ trip idea! There are so many cool details and hidden gems for fans everywhere.
• Make sure to stop by to check out the Salvatore’s House with the original furniture used in the show.
• The convention was so much fun. The panels were amazing and you had the opportunity to ask the actors questions. But of course, the best part was the photo ops, selfies, and autographs.
• Lockwood Mansion and Elena’s house are iconic stops. Some houses like Caroline’s are even available on Airbnb.
• Don’t forget to grab your blood bag at for the full experience. And check out the museum at the Visitor Center where you can see some amazing series stuff like Damon’s car!
(I saved it all in my highlights.)
If you haven’t seen and yet, you absolutely need to! It’s a story filled with mystery, romance, drama, unforgettable characters and a whole universe behind it.💗
