𝗪𝗘 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗗 𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗚𝗢𝗗… 𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗪𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗖𝗔𝗡
There are moments in a people’s history when the signs were so clear, so loud, so painful, that the only true response should have been to fall on our knees and turn to God. Yet we didn’t. And today, as we look back, we can see how every wound, every injustice, every loss was another call we ignored.

We should have turned to God when they planted the seed of overpopulation in our islands with Law 52 of 1912, a law designed without us, against us, and over us.

We should have turned to God when Colombian rulers imposed themselves on our destiny, deciding our future without ever knowing our souls.

We should have turned to God when they imposed their religion and their language through contracts with the Capuchin Brothers, stripping away our ancestral ways, our spiritual memory, our voice.

We should have turned to God when they took away our right to OUR SEA, the very cradle of our livelihood, our culture, our identity.

We should have turned to God when they dismantled the Native Brothers Cooperative and destroyed the boatmen’s proud and prosperous trade.

We should have turned to God when they took COBUSAN, TAXISLAS, COCOTAXI, and every local business that once fed our families and kept our economy in our own hands.

We should have turned to God when they filled in our shores and swamps to house the invaders, erasing our natural defenses and our sacred spaces.

We should have turned to God when they built slum after slum on our land, crowding out our people and suffocating our way of life.

We should have turned to God when those towering cement masses rose like monuments to our misfortune, blocking our horizon and our hope.

We should have turned to God when crime, lawlessness, and underworld violence were imported into our peaceful islands, poisoning our streets and our youth.

We should have turned to God when brothels like Elefante Blanco, Los Arrecifes, and La Abuelita were imposed on our community, degrading our dignity and our moral fabric.

We should have turned to God when they left us without public health services, forcing our people to suffer and die without care.

We should have turned to God when they diverted the water from Cove to the hotels and the invaders, leaving our own people thirsty in their own land.

We should have turned to God when they oversaturated our environment, destroying the resources that sustained our ancestors for generations.

We should have turned to God when they attacked and eliminated our shipping merchants, our maritime pride, our economic backbone.

We should have turned to God when they blocked us from developing our own native inns, denying us the right to benefit from our own tourism.

We should have turned to God when Providence and Kathleena were forced to accept pigsties as “replacement homes” after Hurricane Iota, a humiliation disguised as help.

We should have turned to God when rivers of blood began to flow through our streets, a tragic sign that we had drifted far from who we were meant to be.

We should have turned to God for all these things… 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻’𝘁. And yet, God’s mercy has not run out. Despite our silence, despite our delay, despite our pain, we are still on time to turn to God today.

I am not seeking to condemn anyone, since I would be condemning myself. I am seeking awakening. Reminding us that even after a century of imposed suffering, cultural erasure, economic dispossession, and spiritual attack, 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻.

The question now is simple: 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗶𝗺? Will we reclaim our identity, our unity, our dignity, and our future, not by our own strength, but by His guidance?

The past is written. But the present is still in our hands. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴.
Time will tell!

Miss ZC is correct about the "Jesus" he describes in the post, but he largely fails to appropriate the attributes and legacy of the real Jesus.
One thing is to talk about the "Jesus" of the Prosperity Gospel; the "Jesus" portrayed in The Chosen; the "Jesus" of those touting Christianity devoid of religion; or the Jesus of the Atheists.
THAT IS THE JESUS OF THE WORLD, Miss ZC.

Jesus is not a figure imposed by the church, Miss ZC. Jesus is the head of the church, and His followers are the body. Jesus is not pushing for people to change, but to repent and be saved.

MOCKING GOD HAS SERIOUS IMPLICATIONS. The Church's approach toward Jesus is NOT according to Atheism, Buddhism, Islamism, Agnosticism, Judaism, Hinduism, or any other religion that denies the deity of Jesus the Christ or/and/or the Holy Spirit. The Church believes in a triune God. The Bible defines who is Jesus, from Genesis to Revelation.
The Jesus revered by the church is the Jesus of the Bible. The Jesus who gave up his life to free the world (whosoever wants) from the burden of sin. The Jesus who is the incarnation of love; the Light of the world; the merciful, compassionate, and redemptive Jesus. The Jesus of the church was NOT randomly "assassinated by the State." the Jesus of the church became sin and gave up his life so that all the world (whosoever will) may be saved.

JESUS IS GOD INCARNATE. The Son took on the nature of man while remaining fully God. Jesus Himself declared it.
