I cannot cleave to injustice without giving up on my people. True love endures above all. I cannot love in my own strength, it is Christ who loves through me. I have no control over the passion with which I love my people and hate injustice.
I am not seeking to make anyone comfortable with my opinions. I speak as a true friend, as a real parent would. My intention is to make you uncomfortable, because discomfort precedes healing. If there is a wound, there must be pain before there is restoration. Yet know this: the hurt will not last forever, but the healing will. Without healing, the result is death.

On the islands today, when one gangster from gang A murders a gangster from gang B, we often defend the โvictim.
But deep down we know the truth: this โvictimโ was a bandit, a repeat offender with a long list of crimes, including murder. These outlaws fight for control of โterritoryโ; the right to operate in drug sales, hijacking, armed robbery, injury, and murder.
These bandits impose the death penalty without having the authority. When they stabbed an innocent person or shot someone for taking their money or goods, who determined that death? What court? What judge? Isn't that the death penalty? That is terror institutionalized as dominance. Isn't it?
What crime did businessman Saulo Jackson commit before he was slain? What crime did the money transfer employee commit? Their only โcrimeโ was choosing to live decently, to work, raise families, and contribute to society.
Our people are set out to protect and defend strangers, and Raizals that commit the most heinous crimes. We will defend and protect them on social media, on the corners, in church, and on the street. We will fight the police and impede their arrest; we will go to the courthouse and lie for them. We will curse and insult our own for them.
BUT!! God, have mercy on a decent citizen, a transparent civic leader, a social fighter who dare to look out for them (our people). They join with the enemy and bash, and condemn, and degrade, and belittle, and cancel the one fighting for them. Our people will call the Police against their defenders; they say the most heinous things; they repeat the most ridiculous lies; and they perform the most cruel acts against the people who lay down their lives for them. That's the cultural replacement!

Our hypocrisy is cultural, pathetic, and destructive. Society is shaped by public figures, and when those in the spotlight are hypocritical, biased, and heartless, there is little to no hope. Drug trafficking is demonic. Whoever enters that world must be prepared to kill, to be killed, or to go to prison. It is an empire of blood money, violence, corruption, and evil.
Yet I rarely hear leaders discouraging our people from entering this dark trade. Instead, I listen to them say publicly that drug trafficking is an โalternativeโ to unemployment, that it is โ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ญ๐บ ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฏ๐ด ๐ฐ๐ง ๐ช๐ฏ๐ค๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐ง๐ฐ๐ณ ๐บ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฏ๐จ ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ฑ๐ญ๐ฆ.โ That is a lie from hell, especially dangerous when spoken by โcredibleโ citizens and leaders.
In close communities like ours, every adult becomes a role model. Whatever we say, the youth will repeat. Whatever we do, they will imitate. If we tell them drug trafficking is an acceptable alternative, we must bear responsibility for the destruction that follows.

Drugs smuggled to the United States kill tens of thousands yearly. Traffickers terrorize families, destroy communities, and leave collateral damage everywhere. From planting coca fields to processing co***ne and transporting shipments, countless lives are lost, including innocent ones.
When traffickers die in action, they have already contributed to thousands of deaths. As Jesus warned in As a Christian Nation, we the Raizal People are well aware of the Bible verse, "๐๐๐ ๐ก๐ค๐ซ๐ ๐๐ค๐ง ๐ข๐ค๐ฃ๐๐ฎ ๐๐จ ๐ ๐ง๐ค๐ค๐ฉ ๐ค๐ ๐๐ก๐ก ๐๐ซ๐๐ก."
The U.S. military is not targeting fishermen. Their strikes are precise, based on high-profile intelligence. Fishermen do not load speedboats with multiple 250hp engines, 1,500 gallons of fuel, and race toward the U.S. at 60 mph, and if they do it, they are not on a fishing spree.
San Andrรฉs fishermen are not afraid of U.S. operations. Fishing officials have publicly stated they face no collateral risk. These are not random strikes; they are coordinated, highโlevel interagency operations.
Some fishing authorities in Providence and Kathleena express concern about the safety of their fishermen, but there is no evidence to justify the fear. The technology involved makes it virtually impossible for a mistaken strikes. The real harassment fishermen face in the islands comes daily from Colombian colonial military forces, not U.S. operations, something that we need to address.

For 40 years, drug trafficking has devastated our people. Hundreds of youth, 99% male, have died chasing โeasy money,โ leaving a demographic gap that threatens Raizals' survival.
Adults are bribed with gifts and play the blinds. Youth are seduced by the traffickersโ lifestyles wanting to emulate them. In the 1990s, politicians took advantage of the traffickers' narco-money for buying their way to the public offices. A decade later the dirty money was "institutionalized" and traffickers became politicians themselves.
For the last 20+ years, Providence and Kathleena are being governed by individuals allegedly tied to narcotrafficking, or related to traffickers by close blood-line, or by conjugal affinity. We cannot deny reality: if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, and swims like a duck, it is a duck.

We suffer from the Sin of Silence in the islands. God is no longer a part of our agenda. Speaking of Christian principles is treated as hate speech by a considerable part of our people. We have made an acute shift toward the prosperity gospel which calls evil good and good evil.
In a godless society, evil becomes the norm. Where there is no God, there is no law. When we pushed God out, we invited Satan in. Satan delights in destruction, urging us to do evil while believing it is good.
We have exalted corrupt politicians above God. We praise them, revere them, defend them, and will even kill for them, yet we are ashamed to utter the name of Jesus. Godlessness breeds senselessness and insensitivity.

We have adopted foreign language, forgetting that a new language means a new culture. Learning another language to communicate with outsiders is one thing; replacing our own language among ourselves is cultural su***de.
We were once wise, but no longer. Today, we are blind and deaf to our own foolishness.
"Once I could see, but now I am blind.
Once I could hear, but now I am deaf."
Time will tell!
