Three very interesting women warriors were Buffalo Calf Road Women who was Cheyenne, Pretty Nose was an Arapaho Chief, and Gouyen who was Apache. Buffalo Calf Road Woman was a warrior for the Cheyenne and fought many battles in a leadership role. She also fought in the Battle of the Little Big Horn. She charged Custer, grabbed his saber and stabbed him, knocking him off his horse, killing him, according to Cheyenne Elders. Buffalo Calf Road Woman wasn't the only woman warrior at Little Big Horn that day. Arapaho Chief, Pretty Nose, fought there, too. She lived to 101 years and her grandson also served in the Korean War as a Marine and later became an Arapaho chief, just like his grandmother Pretty Nose. Another woman warrior was Gouyen. She was Apache and rode with Geronimo. Her first husband was killed in a Comanche raid. Gouyen tracked the Comanche Chief who killed her husband back to his camp, where she found him watching a victory dance. Gouyen slipped on a buckskin dress and joined the dance. She then seduced the chief and they went back to his teepee. She killed him with his own knife, stole his breechcloth, his moccasins and his horse. She rode back to her tribe and gave the clothes to her dead husbands parents, to prove she had avenged his death. She later fought with Geronimo and was still with him when he finally surrendered.

Our culture is about Understanding The connections with nature and connections with our own People and all others for Unity. We were a self sustained People who took only what was needed to live. Going back to our Culture Does not mean going back to live in tipis and moose hide loin cloths and running around eating leaves. It's about being connected to what created us to help protect the vulnerable and weak. We sit in circles because we don't Justify materialized possessions as Being rich, we don't Idolize one being Greater than the other. Our Ancestors walked this land. They prayed over this land to provide for us, the future generations to carry forward the wisdom of this land and its beneficial Lessons of survival and sustainable Resources from clean rivers to Healing Leaves , barks,Roots. Our Traditional Crafts are Precious lessons on patience and Discipline and Determination,Endurance to finish. We smudge with fungus and Plants That are proven to be healing In the smoke it's creates. We believe in a Creator Yes, But we also believe in a day All nations will Gather in unity as the red nation was ripped away from the mother land and separated out of fear that we will gain knowledge and grow in numbers.. when I say bring back our songs, bring back the circles, Build the Arbour to bring back our dances for the children to learn. Teach the lessons of Crafts and Artwork, explain the impact of Residential school on your own Family and the impact on the community be Brutally Honest even if it hurts. We as people Need to heal from the Abuse our mothers,Fathers, Grandparents their grandparents and older generations endured. Their prayers are why we are still here fighting for our rights,Fighting for our voices they silenced, growing our hair they cut. OPEN YOUR EYES AND LOOK AT HOW WE ARE TREATED EVERYWHERE. WE NEED TO STAND TOGETHER TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.Ill still smudge for you all to the join the circle of YOUR people...

Missed the first 20 minutes of the party dedicated to the end of filming of his new film in one of the clubs in New York.
He waited patiently in the rain to be let in.
No one recognized him.
The club owner said: "I didn't even know Keanu was standing in the rain waiting to be let in - he didn't say anything to anyone." "He travels by public transport". "He easily communicates with homeless people on the street and helps them".
- He is only 58 years old (September 2, 1964) - He can just eat a hot dog in the park, sitting between ordinary people.
- After filming one of the "Matrix", he gave all the stuntmen a new motorcycle - in recognition of their skill.
- He gave up most of the fee for the salaries of costume designers and computer scientists who draw special effects in "The Matrix" - decided that their share of participation in the budget of the film was underestimated.
- He reduced his fee in the film The Devil's Advocate" to have enough money to invite Al Pacino.
- Almost at the same time his best friend died; his girlfriend lost a child and soon died in a car accident, and his sister fell ill with leukemia.
Keanu did not break: he donated $5 million to the clinic that treated his sister, refused to shoot (to be with her), and created the Leukemia Foundation, donating significant sums from each fee for the film. You can be born a man, but to remain one..

โค๏ธKeanu Reeves, a Canadian film talent, has gone through a lot of hardships in his life. From a young age, he faced abandonment from his father, and grew up under the care of three different stepfathers. Not only that, Keanu also struggled with dyslexia and his dream of becoming a hockey player was crushed by a serious accident.

โค๏ธIn addition, he also experienced painful losses, such as the death of his newborn daughter and his wife in a car accident. Keanu also lost his best friend, River Phoenix, to a drug overdose, and currently, his sister is battling leukemia.

โค๏ธDespite all the suffering, Keanu Reeves is still known for his kindness and generosity. A prime example is when he helped a financially struggling wardrobe assistant while filming โ€œThe Lake Houseโ€ by depositing $20,000 directly into her account. He has also donated large sums of money to hospitals and charities, doing so without any promotion.

โค๏ธIn this photo, he is holding a T-shirt with a message about the divisions in American society, reflecting Keanuโ€™s interest in social and political issues. -> Get yours tee ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡

โค๏ธKeanu Reeves is a living example of choosing kindness and generosity over material wealth. His actions, from donating over $50 million to the โ€œMatrixโ€ crew to sharing a simple breakfast with strangers on his birthday in 2010, show a person who puts kindness above all else. Keanu never seeks public attention, but simply lives true to his values.

โค๏ธHe is not only an artist, but also a model of a person with ethics and character, always putting the interests of others before himself. And this T-shirt is not only a fashion gift, but also a way for you to show your support for the human values โ€‹โ€‹that Keanu Reeves represents.

I am just a wanderer here on earth,A wandering soul,When my time is up,
I'll quietly return home.
My soul will be free,
Like the morning wind,
I watch as day gives way to night,
Those who can no longer be here with me,
I know they're waiting for me to come home.
See you on the other side,
We'll be together again, like we used to be,
When I fought all my battles here.

Bannock, North American Indian tribe that lived in what is now southern Idaho, especially along the Snake River and its tributaries, and joined with the Shoshone tribe in the second half of the 19th century. Linguistically, they were most closely related to the Northern Paiute of what is now eastern Oregon, from whom they were separated by approximately 200 miles (320 km).
According to both Paiute and Bannock legend, the Bannock moved eastward to Idaho to live among the Shoshone and hunt buffalo. Traditional Bannock and Shoshone cultures emphasized equestrian buffalo hunting and a seminomadic life. The Bannock also engaged in summer migrations westward to the Shoshone Falls, where they gathered salmon, small game, and berries. They traveled into the Rockies each fall to hunt buffalo in the Yellowstone area of what are now Wyoming and Montana.
Bannock social organization was based upon independent bands, and the autumn hunting expeditions allowed band chiefs to acquire power over one sector of hunting and subsistence activities. These trips traversed Shoshone territory, requiring a good deal of cooperation with that tribe. Much of the Bannocksโ€™ eastern territory was contiguous with the Shoshoneโ€™s western lands; as close and friendly neighbours, they often camped side by side, and intermarriage was common. The two tribes also shared a common enemy in the fierce Blackfoot, who controlled the buffalo-hunting grounds in Montana. The Fort Hall reservation in Idaho was established for the Shoshone in the 1860s, and many Bannock soon joined them; very close interaction and continued intermarriage blended the two cultures, and the tribes began to use the combined name โ€œShoshone-Bannock.โ€
Before colonization the Bannock were not numerous, probably never reaching more than 2,000. However, they had considerable influence in inciting their more pacific neighbours to revolts and raids against the U.S. settlers in the area. Famine, frustration over the disappearance of the buffalo, and insensitive reservation policy by the U.S. government led to the Bannock War in 1878, which was suppressed with a massacre of about 140 Bannock men, women, and children at Charlesโ€™s Ford in what is now Wyoming.
Early 21st-century population estimates indicated more than 5,000 individuals of Shoshone and Bannock descent..

The Blackfoot-speaking people, known collectively as the Niitsitapi, place great importance on family, kinship, and social responsibility within their community. Their way of life revolves around interconnected relationships, where terms like "wife" and "husband" extend to broader family groups, implying mutual obligations. For example, if a husband passed away, his brothers would take responsibility for the well-being of his widow and her children. This structure allowed the community to care for each other, especially during challenging times such as the late 1800s when disease and warfare reduced the male population, making polygynous marriages more common..

Family Structure and Leadership
Camps were organized by family ties through marriage, and individuals had the flexibility to move between camps based on personal relationships.
Decision-making was collaborative, relying on consensus. Leaders were chosen for their wisdom, generosity, skill, and ability to unite people, rather than holding fixed positions of authority. Leadership was also situational; a leader for warfare might not necessarily lead a buffalo hunt.
Families were grouped into larger units or clans that occupied specific territories. These clans, in turn, formed the basis of the three Blackfoot-speaking nations:
Siksika (Blackfoot) along the eastern region
Kainai (Many Leaders) in the central area
Piikani (Scabby Robes) along the foothills
The Piikani were later divided by the U.S.-Canada border into the Ammskaapipiikani (Montana) and the Apatohsipiikani (Alberta).
Kinship and Social Organization
Niitsitapi communities foster strong inter-clan and inter-nation relationships through marriage, where obligations extended across family lines, clans, and entire nations. This interconnectedness ensured that support and care extended beyond immediate family units.

Age-Grade Societies
Niitsitapi males participated in "age-grade" or "all comrades" societies, which were significant for both social and ceremonial purposes:

Boys joined these societies around age seven or eight and moved into higher ranks every four years.
Membership involved gift exchanges with senior members who passed down responsibilities and privileges.
Adult societies required the participation of female partners, who cared for sacred items. This partnership added another dimension of kinship within the societies, further reinforcing social ties.
Niitsitapi women also maintained their own society, known as the Motokis, which was composed entirely of women and extended across the entire nation.

Sacred Relationships and Peace Agreements
While the Niitsitapi were renowned as fierce warriors, they also embraced peaceful diplomacy. Their concept of innaihtsookakihtsimaan emphasized the sacredness of peaceful relationships. Treaties between groups were formalized by:

Smoking the peace pipe
Praying together
Calling upon Ihtsitpaitapiyopa (the divine spirit) to witness and sanctify the peace agreements.
This way of life highlights the importance of unity, responsibility, and interconnectedness within Niitsitapi society, where social and spiritual ties shaped every aspect of lifeโ€”from family care to political alliances.
