🚨G R I E F. Grief isn’t only experienced in death, but rather in loss. Another common time when grief is experienced is within the loss of a relationship.

About 5 years ago, I experienced a season of grief due to divorce. And contrary to popular belief, time doesn’t heal all wounds, but doing the work does. Through prayer, spending time in the word, listening to sermons, therapy and reflection - my healing process allowed a new version of me to emerge.

I wrote this journal to assist in providing others with the tools to navigate their season’s of grief in a healthy manner. I’ve included scriptures and letters of encouragement to remind you of who God is, remind you of His promises and to remind you that He still has a plan. I’ve included journal prompts to assist you in reflecting on your journey. And prayers to intercede on your behalf.

I can’t wait for you to begin your journey and I pray that at the end of this 15 day journal, you feel more confident in continuing your healing process.

In this snippet, we discuss the case of Brittany Watts, an Ohio woman who suffered a miscarriage and left the nonviable fetus at home— buried it in her backyard.

A grand jury dismissed the case, which highlighted the extent to which women can be prosecuted when their pregnancy ends.
