Mufasa: The Lion King 2 (2024) Disney Movie Trailer

The Lion King II: Simba's Pride is a 1998 American animated direct-to-video romantic musical drama film. It is the sequel to Disney's 1994 animated feature film, The Lion King, with its plot influenced by William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, and the second installment in The Lion King trilogy. According to director Darrell Rooney, the final draft gradually became a variation of Romeo and Juliet.

Produced by Walt Disney Video Premiere and animated by Walt Disney Animation Australia and released on October 27, 1998, the film centers on Simba and Nala's daughter Kiara, who falls in love with Kovu, a male rogue lion from a banished pride that was once loyal to Simba's evil uncle, Scar. Separated by Simba's prejudice against the banished pride and a vindictive plot planned by Kovu's mother Zira, Kiara and Kovu struggle to unite their estranged prides and be together.

Most of the original cast returned to their roles from the first film with a few exceptions. Rowan Atkinson, who voiced Zazu in the first film, was replaced by Edward Hibbert for both this film and The Lion King 1½. Jeremy Irons, who voiced Scar in the first film, was replaced by Jim Cummings, who briefly provided his singing voice in the first film.

PREY 2 (2024) With Dane Diliegro & Amber Midthunder

Predator is a 1987 American science fiction action film directed by John McTiernan and written by brothers Jim and John Thomas. It is the first installment in the Predator franchise. It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as the leader of an elite paramilitary rescue team on a mission to save hostages in guerrilla-held territory in a Central American rainforest, who encounter the deadly Predator (Kevin Peter Hall), a technologically advanced alien who stalks and hunts them down.

Predator was written in 1984 under the working title of Hunter. Filming ran from March to June 1986 with creature effects devised by Stan Winston; the budget was around $15 million. 20th Century Fox released the film on June 12, 1987, in the United States, where it grossed $98.3 million. Initial reviews were mixed, but the film has since been reappraised as a classic of the action genre.

The success of Predator spawned a media franchise of films, novels, comic books, video games, and toys. It spawned three direct sequels: Predator 2 (1990), Predators (2010) and The Predator (2018), and an upcoming installment in preproduction. A crossover with the Alien franchise produced the Alien vs. Predator films, which include Alien vs. Predator (2004) and Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007).

CONSTANTINE 2 (2024) Keanu Reeves Movie

While it would have been interesting to see Reeves become part of the DCU as Constantine, it is better for both the new DC Universe and Constantine 2 that the movie is an Elseworlds project. This way, the DCU can get its own comic book-accurate version of John Constantine in the future, perhaps starting with a role in the upcoming Swamp Thing before a full-fledged Justice League Dark film. On the other hand, by not being part of the DCU, Constantine 2 has a lot more creative freedom.

Not taking place in the DCU also presents an exciting challenge for the movie, as Gunn raised the bar for Constantine 2. The DC Studios co-CEO has revealed that movies developed under the Elseworlds label will need to be really good to get made, with a quality bar higher than the one used to greenlight DCU projects. Based on that, Lawrence, Reeves, and Constantine 2 scribe Akiva Goldsman will have to come up with a unique tale for the movie to make it to screens, which raises excitement for the long-awaited sequel.

THE WITCHER Season 4 Teaser (2024) With Liam Hemsworth & Freya Allan

The Witcher is a fantasy drama streaming television series created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, based on the book series of the same name by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. Set on a fictional, medieval-inspired landmass known as "the Continent", The Witcher explores the legend of Geralt of Rivia and Princess Ciri, who are linked to each other by destiny. It stars Henry Cavill, Freya Allan and Anya Chalotra.

The first season consisted of eight episodes and was released on Netflix in its entirety on December 20, 2019. It was based on The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny, which are collections of short stories that precede the main Witcher saga. The second season, consisting of eight episodes, was released on December 17, 2021. In September 2021, Netflix renewed the series for a third season. An animated origin story film, The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, was released on August 23, 2021, while a prequel miniseries, The Witcher: Blood Origin, will be released in 2022.

More news about Gladiator 2 has been released, with the sequel definitely sounding like it will make up for Ridley Scott's $220 million Napoleon failure. Despite Ridley Scott being one of the most acclaimed filmmakers of all time, the director's track record isn't perfect, with Napoleon being a major recent blemish on his fantastic career. The upcoming film Gladiator 2 features a lot of parallels to Napoleon, and while this could be scary after the film's $220 million failure, Gladiator 2 is already shaping up to be in a much better position than Scott's most recent film.

Gladiator 2 is finally on the way, with the upcoming sequel to the beloved 2000 Ridley Scott movie being one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2024. Although 2000's Gladiator was a massive success, it has taken over two decades for Ridley Scott to return to the world of Gladiator. Now that Gladiator 2 is happening, however, there are a lot of questions surrounding the film, such as how it will handle the loss of Russell Crowe's Maximus. However, details regarding Gladiator 2 are finally starting to be released, with the film shaping up to be something incredibly exciting.

Rambo is an American media franchise centered on a series of action films featuring the character of the same name. There have been five films released so far in the series: First Blood (1982), Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985), Rambo III (1988), Rambo (2008), and Rambo: Last Blood (2019). The films follow John Rambo, a United States Army Special Forces veteran played by Sylvester Stallone, whose experience fighting in the Vietnam War traumatized him but also gave him superior military skills, which he has used to fight corrupt police officers, enemy troops and drug cartels. The first film in the series, First Blood, is an adaptation of the 1972 novel First Blood by David Morrell.

The film series has grossed $819 million in total, with the most successful film, Rambo: First Blood Part II, grossing $300 million. Stallone co-wrote the screenplays of all five films, and directed Rambo. In addition to films, the franchise also spawned an animated television series, Rambo: The Force of Freedom, as well as comic books, novels, video games and a Bollywood remake.

The Rush Hour franchise is a series of American action comedy films created by Ross LaManna and directed by Brett Ratner with both Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker in leading roles. All three films center around a pair of police detectives, Chief Inspector Lee (Chan) and Detective James Carter (Tucker), who go on their series of misadventures involving corrupt crime figures in Hong Kong and Los Angeles. The films incorporate elements of martial arts, humor, and the buddy cop subgenre. The films were released theatrically from 1998 to 2007, attaining commercial success, but critical reception was mixed.

BLADE Teaser (2024) With Mahershala Ali & Jennifer Lawrence

Blade is a 1998 American superhero horror film directed by Stephen Norrington and written by David S. Goyer. Based on the Marvel Comics superhero of the same name, it is the first installment of the Blade franchise. The film stars Wesley Snipes as the titular character with Stephen Dorff, Kris Kristofferson and N'Bushe Wright in supporting roles. In the film, Blade is a Dhampir, a human with vampire strengths but not their weaknesses, who together with his mentor Abraham Whistler and hematologist Karen Jenson, fights against vampires, namely the exceptionally vicious Deacon Frost.

Released on August 21, 1998, Blade was a commercial success, grossing $70 million at the U.S. box office, and $131.2 million worldwide. Despite mixed reviews from film critics, the film received a positive reception from audiences and has since garnered a cult following. It is also hailed as one of Snipes' signature roles. It was followed by two sequels, Blade II and Blade: Trinity, both written by Goyer who also directed the latter. Blade was a dark superhero film for its time. The success of Blade began Marvel's film success and set the stage for further comic book film adaptations.

RED NOTICE 2 Teaser (2024) With The Rock Dwayne Johnson & Ryan Reynolds

Red Notice is a 2021 American action comedy film written, directed, and produced by Rawson Marshall Thurber. Dwayne Johnson, who also served as a producer, stars as an FBI agent who reluctantly teams up with a renowned art thief (Ryan Reynolds) in order to catch an even more notorious criminal (Gal Gadot). The film marks the third collaboration between Thurber and Johnson, following Central Intelligence (2016) and Skyscraper (2018).

Originally planned for release by Universal Pictures, the film was acquired by Netflix for distribution. It began a limited theatrical release on November 5, 2021 before digitally streaming on the platform on November 12, 2021. The film received generally mixed reviews from critics, who praised the performances of the cast (particularly Reynolds and Johnson), along with the humor and cinematography, but criticized the plot and writing. It became the most-watched film in its debut weekend on Netflix, as well as the most-watched film within 28 days of release on the platform.

Kong: Skull Island is a 2017 American monster film directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts. It is a reboot of the King Kong franchise and serves as the second film in Legendary's MonsterVerse, as well as the 11th film in the King Kong franchise. The film stars Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, Brie Larson, Jing Tian, Toby Kebbell, John Ortiz, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, Shea Whigham, Thomas Mann, Terry Notary, and John C. Reilly. In the film, set in 1973, a team of scientists and Vietnam War soldiers travel to the uncharted Skull Island and meet Kong, a gigantic ape who is the last of his species, closely followed by other terrifying creatures.

The film was announced in July 2014 at San Diego Comic-Con, and Vogt-Roberts was announced as the director in September 2014. The project initially began at Universal Pictures as an origin story but was later moved to Warner Bros. to develop a shared cinematic universe featuring Godzilla and Kong. Principal photography began in October 2015 in Hawaii and various locations around Vietnam and ended in March 2016.

Kong: Skull Island was theatrically released on March 10, 2017, to generally positive reviews from critics, with praise for its visual effects, action sequences, and performances, particularly Jackson and Reilly. It was also a box office success, grossing $566 million worldwide.The film received a Best Visual Effects nomination at the 90th Academy Awards. A sequel, Godzilla vs. Kong, was released on March 24, 2021.
