is a Houston based, minority owned and operated internet radio station founded on March 1, 2014 by five African American women. This is reflected in the music we play (which is largely geared to local and independent artists), our radio personalities (who are often entrepreneurs just starting out in radio or everyday outspoken individuals), the way we talk (completely unfiltered and free) and how we do business (locally first). Holiday cheer with real impact 🎄✨

Over the weekend, Niecy Nash-Betts and Adrienne Maloof brought Hollywood together for their annual Holiday Party With a Purpose—a beautiful reminder that giving back never goes out of style.

Hosted at Adrienne Maloof’s Beverly Hills estate, the night blended elegance, generosity, and heart. Guests showed up with unwrapped toy donations supporting local Fire Departments and families impacted by recent LA-area fires through the CWVV Eaton/Altadena Fire Winter Wonderland Toys & Joy Initiative.

The vibes? Immaculate. 🎶 Jessica Betts delivered a soulful performance of “This Christmas,” setting the tone for a night full of love and light.

Spotted in the room: Tia Mowry, Phaedra Parks, Yandy Smith, Quad Webb, Suzanne de Passe, Novi Brown, Rachel Lindsay, Meta World Peace, Jon Lovitz, Monyetta Shaw, and more—proof that when purpose calls, the culture answers.

Toy donations are still being accepted at local Fire Departments for families affected by the fires.

Houston, TX – July 2, 2025 – On Tuesday, July 1st, BET+ celebrated the launch of the newest extension of the “Sistas” universe, “Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas,” in Houston at Bungalow Downtown Dining. Houston’s most notable VIP’s and influencers including Devale Ellis, Muneera Paige, Karen Johnson, DJ Supastar, Xandi, Sunni The Rapper and more attended the elegant cocktail mixer and reception hosted by Houston’s very own rapper and actress, Jazz Anderson.

Created, written, and directed by Perry, who also serves as an executive producer, “Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas” follows five close friends — Rasheda, Geneva, Naomi, Tiffany, and Bridgette — as they navigate life, love and the challenges that come with divorce, marriage and dating.
