Abia State has recorded significant progress under Governor Alex Otti, with the BudgIT 2026 State of States Report ranking the state among Nigeria’s top performers in fiscal management, revenue generation, infrastructure, health, education, and governance.
Key highlights include 1st in total expenditure growth,

1st in capital expenditure growth, 1st in personnel expenditure growth, and 2nd in aggregate revenue growth. Abia also ranked first in capital expenditure per resident, with ₦137,253 spent per person on development.

The post attributes these achievements to Governor Otti’s focus on fiscal discipline, infrastructure development, and human capital investment, alongside improvements in primary healthcare that earned Abia $500,000 in the 2025 NGF Primary Healthcare Leadership Challenge.

we offer a glimpse of the mercy Jesus has given us.

Lord,I ask You to remove every desire of revenge from my heart ❤️

Help me not to repay hurt with hurt,
anger with anger, or evil with evil.

Give me the strength to walk away from situations that disturb my peace and the wisdom to know when silence 🔕 is more powerful than a response in Jesus name,amen.
