Story time….The x x collab dropped March 1st.
So naturally… I arrived March 1st in store prepared to swipe away. 💳
However, Houston Area Store shelves said: “Dropped where?”
Store 1? Nothing.
Store 2? Not even a tag.
Store 3? I questioned my sanity.
Store 4? I had bonded with the nice Target Associates who helped me
Store 5? It was giving imaginary friend.
It wasn’t sold out.
It was like it had never been born.
Day two. Three more stores.
I felt like I was explaining urban legends to Target associates
“Yes, it’s real. I promise. I’ve seen it online.”lol
And then… store number eight. March 2nd.
Because I don’t fold under retail pressure.….
An entire display.
Butterflies. Courtly checks. Fully alive and thriving.
Did I secure the bag? Obviously.
Did I earn a commemorative medal for perseverance? Also yes.
So let the record show:
On March 1st, it did not exist in Houston.
On March 2nd, I refused to be denied. Superfan status requires perseverance until you find it. And I DID!
Because if it’s out there, I will locate it.
