I’ve learned that the best adventures rarely begin with a perfectly planned itinerary. My MacKenzie-Childs Traveling Tote and I found ourselves beneath that spectacular chandelier Fontainebleau Las Vegas with the casino calling and absolutely no reason to call it an early night.

Because this tote wasn’t made to sit at home.

And neither was I. 🧸🎰

Do you remember when the MacKenzie-Childs Barn Sale meant spreading the catalogs across the floor, circling your wish list, folding page corners, and dreaming about the pieces you’d finally bring home?

Before there was an online Barn Sale… there were this!

Every Mackenzie-Childs collector knows the feeling of flipping through each beautifully styled page, imagining where that teapot, platter, or Courtly Check treasure would live in your home.

As the years went on, the printed catalogs gradually disappeared and the shopping experience moved online, making these old editions feel like little pieces of Mackenzie-Childs history (who still has theirs?).

Today, I took a trip down memory lane, revisiting old wish lists and realizing that SO many of those once dreamed about pieces are now part of my collection.

Some of the best MacKenzie-Childs Barn Sale memories aren’t just what you bought… they’re who you waited in line with. 💜

Before wish lists became online carts and countdown timers, there were early mornings, excited conversations, and the anticipation of the rope dropping at the front of the lone. There was something special about standing in line with fellow Mackenzie-Childs fans, swapping stories, sharing shopping strategies, and wondering what fabulous treasures awaited inside.

Today, I’m taking a stroll down memory lane from inside my favorite Mackenzie-Childs travel tote on this Barn Sale Eve.

Here’s to the friendships, the traditions, and the excitement that make Barn Sale week feel like a reunion every year.

Shoutout to ALL of our MC family for sharing so many wonderful Barn Sale adventures over the years. Here’s to making more fabulous memories together! Miss you guys.💜🏁
