ebe Gunn features a 450 sq ft sound proof recording room with an isolation booth large enough for multiple vocalists or a piano. It also features natural lighting to reduce the “cave” effect common in many studios. The 250 sq ft control room offers clear sight lines to all areas of the recording room and offers comfortable seating and accurate monitoring. Each room has separate heating and cooling controls as well as dimmable lighting to ensure a comfortable environment. All of the musical instruments in the studio are available for client use, and the studio is also equipped with a refrigerator, a bathroom, and a small kitchen area.

I’d like to thank Keith and all the awesome people who work at for sending me a new badge for my M80 stage mic after I broke off the old one. Not only do they make the best mics for stage and studio (and they really do), they’re a small American company with fantastic customer service. The very few times I’ve had any issues with any of their products I’ve easily been able to have direct communication with someone who actually works there, which is so rare these days, and they’re always super helpful. I’ve been using these M80 mics for vocals on stage for over ten years and on the rare occasion I don’t, I’m always disappointed by any other mic. I also use them for drums in my studio and they sound amazing. To all my singer friends, if you plan to invest in your own stage vocal mic, the M80 is the best. Telefunken rules!

This is my Fender Princeton Chorus I got at the end of 1991 in eighth grade, shortly after Nirvana hit the scene, and used through most of high school. It hasn’t seen much use since and hasn’t really worked right for about twenty years, mostly just collecting dust. I decided to look into the issue it had (constant humming) and determined (correctly) that it was most likely the filter capacitors. I replaced them today and thoroughly cleaned it and now it’s working, clean, shiny, and smells like teen spirit! 90’s tone!
