Happy Sunday! I’ve promised to share with you guys my latest version of brownie recipe so here you go! 🍫✨
200g dark chocolate (preferably 50%> cocoa)
100g unsalted butter
2 large eggs
100g (1/2 cup) brown sugar
A pinch of salt
80g (2/3 cup) all-purpose flour
25g (1/4 cup) cocoa powder
1/4 tsp baking powder
Chocolate chips (optional)
*Bake at 160°C for 40 minutes
*Recipe for 8”x8” brownies pan
Tips:
Make sure to mix the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy (i mixed mine for roughly 5 minutes), this will help to form a shiny and crinkly top on the brownies.
Use a higher percentage of cocoa solids for the chocolate, this will help to get a richer chocolate taste (i used 54.5% cocoa solids for this recipe)
I use unrefined molasses sugar in this recipe but you can use brown sugar instead.
This is a less sweet version of brownies, you can add up until 150g sugar as you prefer.
