From Thursday’s chase. Brolin McKay and I documented 5 tornadoes in southern Oklahoma Thursday evening. I may be back out there Thursday if conditions look right. Think a sneaky setup is possible in Texas panhandle and Oklahoma Thursday and Friday

Today-tomorrow could have some very heavy rains and storms with a flood watch out. Also the WPC has a moderate 3/4 for excessive rains for houston and southeast texas. Be prepared for troubled commutes the next few days. Also more than just typical street flooding. Wherever the training occurs we could see 5-8” of rain possible.

Assorted storm chase photos from
04/19-4/20 in OK and North Texas including the tornado fest south of OKC on the 19th and this past week supercells and structures across west central Texas. 04/25-04/26. So far it’s been a very good chase season. Hopefully May will be great this season too.. next chase coming soon hopefully.

Some absolutely major tornadoes earlier tonight In MS. It went from 8 to 11 pm. I feel uncomfortable to share this other to say you cannot ride a tornado out in a car. Full Jonas from twister.

I have mixed feelings about sharing this. I feel it’s insensitive to the victims and their families but I also feel the need to use it as an example of how imperative it is to be weather aware. Especially at night.

For our area today (Houston) I think a cap prevents much of any shower or Storm development especially south of i-10. 20% chance of a sprinkle or lite shower around lunchtime.

Dangerous day ahead for severe weather across ARK-LA-MISS. Could be very strong tornadoes today in that area. I won’t be out there today as I am still recovering from a bad flu.

Beautiful structure before it produces a tornado yesterday. We saw the funnel cloud over downtown Ft worth as well..
