2025, you were… a lot. 😅

But you were also beautiful.

Thailand gave me wonder. Houston gave me grit. Mexico City gave me sparkle and a little main-character energy (respectfully). This video is the highlight reel: scenes, meals, selfies, and a few good people who made the year feel human.

Growth isn’t always dramatic. Sometimes it’s just… staying. Trying. Laughing again.
And honestly? I did that.

Cheers to healing that actually holds. 🥂

Many of the foods Americans call “superfoods” are just normal backyard food in a lot of other countries—things you pick off a tree or pull from the ground and eat right there.

Where I grew up, mango wasn’t a luxury wellness trend. It was just mango. Off the tree. Juice down your arm. No $15 price tag and no marketing campaign needed.
That “superfood” example got me thinking about something bigger.

How often are we sold an upgraded, expensive version of things we already value—health, safety, community, a decent life—and told this is what success should look like?

🦃 What a Thanksgiving.

Tonight, I was sitting at a 20-person dining table in a beautiful penthouse in Mexico City with 360° views of the city.

At the table, the other guests were sixteen native Spanish speakers from Colombia 🇨🇴 , Argentina🇦🇷, and Mexico🇲🇽.

Then there was me (Jamaican 🇯🇲), the host (American 🇺🇸), her Argentinian husband, and their daughter. The whole family was effortlessly bilingual.

And my brave little soul decided, “Welp… I’m doing my gratitude list in Spanish too.”

So I did.

I fumbled. I searched for words. I probably invented a tense or two. 😆

But that’s how we learn — by being willing to sound imperfect in the middle of real life.

I’m so grateful for the experience, for their patience, and for a life where Thanksgiving looks like this now. 🙏💛

Just had my first massage since I left Thailand two months ago and whew… my body said thank you. 🥹

I went to Royal Thai Spa here in Mexico City and had a traditional Balinese massage from a woman who’s actually from Bali. I love how many stories and countries quietly overlap in my life.

Now I’m headed to a Chinese restaurant for dinner, because why stop the international theme now? 😂

Later this week, I’ll be at an American friend’s home for Thanksgiving with her Argentinian husband and their international crew of friends.

If this isn’t international living, I don’t know what is. 🌍🙌🥳
