1996 hit different! 🚌💥 Step off the yellow bus, drop that heavy-ass backpack on the porch, and run like your life depends on it.

You’re rocking a jersey three sizes too big, jeans sweeping the floor, and you’ve got a strict 5-minute window of pure freedom before chores or homework hit!

The 4PM routine was absolute elite nostalgia:

The TV Sprint: Flipping straight to Duck Tails, BET for Rap City, MTV for TRL, or Nickelodeon for All That.

The After-School Feast: A bowl of sugary cereal and a Capri Sun while standing in front of the open fridge.

The Landline Call: Dialing up the friend you just saw on the bus before someone kicks you off for AOL Dial-Up.

No bills, no real-world stress just after school vibes and your neighborhood friends!

Waiting until the last minute to do everything even take out the MEAT lol 😂

Wig MAXING

1. Add Color Tracks: Sew tracks around the mid-head/crown, keeping them 2 inches away from the middle part and hairline so looks natural!

2. Define the Part: Carve a sharp center part with a rat-tail comb. Apply wax stick and hot comb it flat. Add concealer to the line for a natural scalp look if you desire that look!

3. Cut Face-Framing Layers: Start the shortest layer at chin/lip level. Slide-cut at a 45-degree angle pulling forward to create a featherlight, blended frame.

4. Big Loose Curls: Use a 1.25”–1.5” iron or BIGGER, curling away from the face. Pin curls to cool, then brush out gently and set with flexible hairspray. Babyyyy my girl still pulls out the Marcels!!!
