🚨 - GUILTY. LIFE. NO PAROLE.

A Dallas County jury Friday night convicted Kewon Dontrell White of capital murder in the Nov. 11, 2020 killing of Dallas rapper MO3, Melvin Noble — the highway ambush on I-35E that was captured on a truck camera and replayed during two weeks of testimony in Criminal District Court 7.

The jury deliberated for less than three hours.

Judge Chika Anyiam sentenced White the same night to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

The State did not seek the death penalty. For this capital murder conviction, life without parole was the sentence.

Prosecutors told jurors White was the gunman in a murder-for-hire plot — that he followed Noble in a black Camaro, chased him through stopped freeway traffic and killed him because Markies Conway, known as Yella Beezy, paid or promised to pay him.

White never took the stand.

His defense argued prosecutors never showed the jury money changing hands and had failed to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that White committed the killing for remuneration.

The jury rejected that argument.

Jurors found White guilty of capital murder under the murder-for-remuneration theory presented by prosecutors.

Conway has pleaded not guilty and still faces his own trial. Friday's verdict is White's — it does not determine Conway's guilt.

Melvin Noble was 28 years old.

The video showed him running between cars in broad daylight as a gunman pursued him down I-35E.

Nearly six years later, a Dallas County jury decided who that gunman was.

Kewon White will spend the rest of his life in prison.

Yella Beezy's trial will start September 14, 2026 in Judge Chika Anyiam in the Dallas County Criminal District Court No. 7
