Tragic Discovery of Zeke Gregory Best
�The lifeless body of Zeke Gregory Best, the 10-month-old son of Jeremy Best, was discovered by hunters on Saturday morning. Regrettably, he was deceased.
In connection to the incident, Jeremy Best, who is suspected of murdering his pregnant wife and abducting Zeke, has been apprehended by authorities, according to a news release from the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office.
�A group of hunters contacted Bonneville County Dispatch at approximately 9:15 a.m. on Saturday after they found a man in a sleeping bag on the road's side, according to a news release.Officials have reported that the caller claimed a naked man was making strange statements.
�Bonneville County Sheriff's Department said the reports came from Kepps Crossing Road, near Dan Creek Road, east of Idaho Falls.
Upon arriving, the authorities identified the man as Jeremy Albert Best. Best was apprehended and safely placed in a patrol car while waiting for Idaho Falls Ambulance personnel to treat any possible injuries.
�The black Chevy SUV driven by Best was found nearby and sadly, Zeke Best's lifeless body was also discovered.
It is unclear whether Zeke's body was in the SUV. Bonneville County Coroner Rick Taylor stated that the cause of Zeke's death has yet to be determined. A forensic autopsy in Boise will be conducted before any decisions are made.
Last Thursday Best was seen on footage walking into a store completely naked, stealing ci******es before being escorted out.
Best was evaluated by EMS and taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was then turned over to hospital staff for mental evaluations. He was shortly discharged from the center.
�Late in the evening around 11:40 p.m., the Teton County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call from the Best household.
A news release from the sheriff's office stated that the dispatcher heard arguing on the line and dispatched deputies to the scene.
Upon arrival, they discovered the body of Kali Jean Randall, the wife and mother of Zeke.
The police believe that Best killed Randall and fled with their child.
Zeke and Best have been sought after by law enforcement since 4 a.m last Friday when an Amber Alert was issued.
�Following medical clearance, Best was transported to Bonneville County Jail where he was apprehended for an outstanding homicide warrant from Teton County.
